P.U.P. Deputy Warns Society is ‘Sick and Tired’

Cordel Hyde

There is a widespread call for a thorough investigation into the disappearance of Kelvin Usher and on what went wrong on Sunday when the GSU descended on the youth and his father. Today, it came from many quarters; from ministers to high profile persons to young students or simply persons who feel the system is failing.  The P.U.P.’s Cordel Hyde believes that the protest will not stop until Usher is found.

Cordel Hyde, Deputy Party Leader, P.U.P.

“What I can say is that my sense is that the community will not rest until he is found and the community will not rest until we have justice. And the least that’s expected in this situation; that we get some justice. Noh come give we no bull crap story mien…noh come do that to we. Find the youth, deliver the youth to ih ma and make whoever responsible—one way or the other—pay for this or else we will have another incident down the road and we have to stop it. We have to stop it. We have to start look out for one another. They authorities need to start be accountable to the people because dah the people di pay dehn salary. So something has to be done. This can’t be just another case. And if you look at how the community di respond, they noh prepared to accept that. They noh prepared fi accept that because they just tired. They sick and tired of being sick and tired.”
