“John Doe” Surfaces Near New Bridge over Macal River

There is a second murder in less than forty-eight hours to report in the west. On September tenth, Jose Sibrian was stabbed to death following a confrontation at a bar.  Police are now investigating the murder of a man whose body was found floating in the river. Sometime after two o’clock on Tuesday, the body was spotted floating face-down in the Macal River, near the new bridge off the Loma Luz Boulevard. Due to the advance state of decomposition, an autopsy conducted on site has revealed that John Doe had been stabbed multiple times before being dumped in the river. Acting Officer Commanding San Ignacio Police, Assistant Superintendent Daniel Iche in a briefing today told the media about the gruesome discovery.
