U.D.P. Names 7 to Take Back Orange Walk Town Council

The United Democratic Party continues to roll out its roster of candidates in various cities and towns ahead of the March 2018 municipal elections.  This morning in Belize City, the U.D.P. Seven for Orange Walk Town was formally introduced, with former mayor Philip De La Fuente leading the charge once again.  Joining him are six candidates, including Yara Cal, Ajasha Cantun, Evan Williams, Derik Sambula, Jose Cocom and Armando Usher.  They were presented at the U.D.P. Secretariat by Chairman Alberto August.

“Thank you Mr. Chairman, good morning all.  I love to work.  I love to get things done.  Apart from the street side chopping, road works and the picking up of garbage which is the responsibility of each town council, our team will think and work outside the normal parameters of the town council.  We do this to assist our community to live a better life.  Our team will take Orange Walk to higher levels.  Our team is a huge cross section of our community.  We have new leaders working along with proven and competent leaders.  We all have one thing in common, we want to see Orange Walk prosper, we want to see Orange Walk develop.  With our U.D.P. Seven team Orange Walk will move ahead.  We are ready to work for you.  We humbly ask for your vote of confidence on March seventh, 2018.  Vote U.D.P. Seven for progress.  Thank you very much.”
