P.R. officer let go in ‘streamlining’ of F.F.B. office

Marlon Kuylen

Acting President Kuylen expects full quorum since the meeting was called for by members. Also on the agenda are the dismissals of general secretary Michael Blease and others. Blease was publicly replaced by Earl Jones in July. While he expects at least one challenge over those dismissals, Kuylen says it is an effort to continue streamlining and professionalizing the office in charge of the sport in Belize.

“It’s more streamlining of the Federation, putting people in place, professionals; putting structures in place so that the Federation can run as a professional organization, the way it should run.”

“And there is no issue of them challenging those terminations or anything like that.”

“We know of one challenge that has come to light so far but we are preparing for them.”
