No Bail Yet for Christian Espat

Christian Espat

Twenty-one year old Christian Espat of San Pedro Town will remain behind bars for another week since his bail application was not heard today. The Director of Public Prosecutions’ office has raised strong objections to Espat being granted bail.  Espat is accused of attempted murder of two minors and twenty-seven year old Lloyd Tindall after shooting at them at Easy Does It A and A Woodwork Shop in the San Pedrito area on Saturday night, August twelfth. Justice Adolph Lucas will be hearing submissions on the objection by Crown Counsel Jacqueline Willoughby and Espat’s attorney, Richard “Dickie” Bradley.  Espat was remanded on Monday after being read two counts of attempted murder, three counts of use of deadly means of harm with a firearm, and two counts of dangerous harm on the minors. Tyndall was severely wounded as he was shot multiple times as many as four times, once to the abdomen and three times to the left leg. Martinez was shot to the left wrist, while Hernandez was shot in the right buttock.
