Barbers Thank Sponsors for Haircuts

Brian Dena

According to co-organizer, Brian Dena, the annual event is made possible through donations from members of the public, as well the as efforts of volunteers who give of their time freely.

Brian Dena, Organizer

“This year we’ll be having it on the second and third of September.  The second, which is a Saturday, we’ll be starting from ten a.m. to five p.m. in the evening and the Sunday, we’re starting from nine a.m. in the morning until five p.m. in the evening.  And the address, we’ll be having it at 40 Fabers Road.  For a quick direction for people that don’t know the address, if you come from the direction of the Central American Boulevard going to the Western Highway, it will be now at the second bump, which is like probably the middle of Fabers Road, where the dike is…  If people pass by, nobody can miss it because it’s right on the main.”

Isani Cayetano

“Who are some of the sponsors that are allowing for this to happen this time around?”

Brian Dena

“I must say a big thank you to them, especially the people over the past six years that have been helping us.  We have to give thanks to the Social Security Board, Mike Theus, B.N.E. Trust, Tony’s Grocery, Grant Electrical, B.T.L., B.T.B. I have to give thanks to, Mrs. Janet and Dennis Hislop for giving us the compound for us to trim.  We have all the volunteers.  I always give big thanks to them because without them we can’t do it by ourselves.”

The annual trimming drive begins on September second.
