Police admit sloppiness in processing crime scene but family allege cover-up

Another charge made by the family, believing that foul play may have been involved in the death of their loved one, is that the officers left behind evidence of an attempted cover-up. Those pieces of items include a pair of bloody surgical gloves. According to Senior Superintendent Gillett, the officers were merely sloppy in disposing of the assorted objects used to process the scene of the accident.

“Another allegation coming from either residents or members of the family is that the paraphernalia used by the police department, by members of the scenes of crime unit or whichever were the investigating officers, left behind gloves and other bloody items that, to them, suggest that there may have been either an act of foul play or trying to cover up what took place.  Can you speak to that?”

“Well we have learned of that and we have also investigated that and what we found is that the officers were not careful enough, they left behind some of the items used to process the scene and that is not good.  We have been in contact with those officers and I am sure that with the measures taken it is nothing that will happen anytime soon.  But yes, they were wrong for leaving these items and these items include gloves.  It’s not the proper way of disposing of these items, but it has been brought up and I’m sure with the measures taken we won’t have a recurrence of this nature.”

A post-mortem was conducted this afternoon but the results is unavailable.

Your cops are unprofessional useless idiots who can’t even process a crime scene. There needs to be a complete overhaul of the Belizean police force. They are murderous…corrupt and have no value of life..just money. Wake up Belize!
