Reward for Information to Find Robbers of T.T.C.U.

The Toledo Teachers Credit Union in Bella Vista Village was burglarized last Thursday and a significant sum of money, over one hundred and fourteen thousand dollars, was stolen from the lending institution.  Those funds were secured inside a vault within the building; however, thieves were crafty in their pursuit of the ill-gotten jackpot.  In the wake of the break-in, Independence police detained one person for questioning in connection with the heist.  An investigation to confirm a set of fingerprints left behind by the burglars, as well as their identities from surveillance footage is also open.  The money still hasn’t been recovered.  But tonight, the Belize Progressive Party is offering a reward of one thousand dollars for information leading to the recovery of the stolen money, as well as the arrest of the culprits.  They are relying on your support to bring the perpetrators to justice.
