“The sentiment from them is a positive one in the sense that they are happy, they are satisfied with the work of the police in this area and they are satisfied with the crime situation in this area. The salient thing from them is that they see the police every minute and that is excellent. Few complaints; some of them talking about children on the street still after hours – that is an area we need to improve on and so we will be sending the message to our patrol officers to ensure that the curfew law continues to be enforced – it is still there and we haven’t backed off from it. We believe that enforcing is a good thing and we cannot stop at this time. So, all in all everything is okay in this area of the City.”
