Passengers Injured When Cement Truck Hits Bus Accidentally
There was another accident, but fortunately there were no fatalities. It occurred at mile ten on the George Price Highway, and while no one perished, several persons suffered various degrees of injuries. According to a police report, sometime after five on Saturday evening, a truck transporting cement blocks allegedly reversed on to the highway and collided into a Westline passenger bus traveling in the direction of Belmopan. Three persons who were on the bus are in a critical condition at the K.H.M.H., while at least seven others received minor injuries. Both drivers were served with a notice of intended prosecution. The Police investigation is ongoing.
