David Jones Joins U.S. Military Hall of Fame

B.D.F. Commander David Jones will be inducted into the military Hall of Fame at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas in March 2017.  The achievement comes after the Brigadier General accomplished the feat of graduating from the military college and rose in rank to become the commander of the Belize Defense Force.  The induction is a big deal for the B.D.F. who is proud of his accomplishment.  According to Jones, he has been formally invited to deliver an address to the graduating class of 2017.

Brig. Gen. David Jones, Commander, B.D.F.

“I have received correspondence already that there is intent for me to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.  This honor is bestowed on officers who have been outstanding in their career and officers who have attended the commanders and generals staff college at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and have risen all the way to the rank of commander of their armed forces.  So, being that I was a graduate of that college and my performance while I was there and being that I have risen to the rank of commander of the Belize Defense Force, I have been invited to go and be inducted in the hall of fame which means that I will also address the graduating class of Fort Leavenworth when I go there.”

Brig. Gen. David Jones

“Yeah, it will be a great honor.  This ceremony if it does happen, it is expected to be in March.  So I will fly over to Kansas and be a part of that ceremony.”
