The Dark Night War Resumes: Bradley Paumen Accused of Getting Illegal Access Through Michael Modiri’s Property

Convicted tour operator Bradley Paumen finds himself in another bind tonight with his Dark Night Tours, after rival businessman Michael Modiri cut off access to his property near Frank’s Eddy Village, Cayo District.  The feuding neighbors have gone to great lengths, including court action, to settle an ongoing land dispute.  In spite of a Supreme Court ruling in favor of Modiri, Paumen has been busing tourists through his neighbor’s property in order for them to access the adjacent cave-tubing facilities.  Modiri was the target of a foiled hit earlier this year in which it is alleged that Paumen orchestrated an assassination attempt on his life.  While the matter remains before the courts, Paumen continued to trespass on his neighbor’s property and Modiri has had enough and the volatile situation between the duo is coming to a head once again.  He has proceeded to install security personnel on the three-acre compound in an effort to prohibit Dark Night’s employees from traversing the property.  Today, Modiri gave us an account of what has been taking place in Frank’s Eddy Village since the court order was issued five months ago.

“The piece of land has been cleared by the Supreme Court to, proven that there’s been trespassing on my property, an order has been issued for Dark Night and Bradley Paumen to stop and he refuses to do so even though the court order was established like five months ago.  We’ve done every legal way and we’ve tried to communicate through attorneys and he just plainly doesn’t respect the law.  And we finally decided to put a security firm in there twenty-four seven and make sure they don’t go in because they have, we’ve put in chained gates and they bulldozed over it and uprooted it.  We put an iron gate and locked it and they kept breaking the lock four times.  The fifth time they just broke the gate and stole it.  Every time I go to the police and they can’t help.  They say who knows who did it even though he has the only access to the property and he is the only one profiting from breaking the gate.  But they say you don’t have proof so we can’t help you stopped this trespass.”
