Michael Modiri Says Paumen Has Refused to Settle Deadly Dispute
According to Modiri, he has tried to strike an agreement with Paumen for the use of his land as an access point; however, Paumen has refused to accede to Modiri’s demand. He recounts the botched hit earlier this year.

“The attempt on my life and my attorney and three other people by him directly; he’s been arrested. Unfortunately he uses the jail as a revolving door—he’s in, he’s out in five days. He was arrested again for he is the one responsible for planting the gun last year or a year and a half ago in my vehicle that sent me to prison with the accusation of owning a gun and ammunition and silencer and all that to frame me. It was proven that it was him and he was arrested for that while he was on bail for another case, on a murder case. But I think the second time only took three days and he’s out. He’s out to do what he does and since he’s been out, he continues to trespass and he continues to do so until this week. So all of the details of what he was planning and this and that, I can’t really say anything cause I don’t want to interfere with what’s happening in court and I respect the court system as oppose to his actions that proves disrespect to the court, the police to the laws to everything. And as far as access, he has access to his property and he does not need to go through my land. We have provided him maps, different routes—three of which are existing and two that require some road building by him. But I’ve had some conversations with him that I have recorded that he says very clearly that yes I know, but I’m not gonna drive thirty miles when I can cut through and only have to spend a quarter of a mile by using your property. So I say okay, if that is the case and you don’t want to use the existing road and you want to do my road, fine…you’re a businessman, I am a businessman, we can come to an agreement. You can use the place just like Chukka is renting from Jaguar Paw, you can rent from me. Oh no, if I pay any rent, I will lose money. How can you lose money? It’s a given.”
