“You know the implications of that? That calls for an investigation; the F.B.I. would have to be called in to find out what is going on in this country. It means, my brother, if somebody wahn hambug you, they can say they found your finger prints on a bottle or on a firearm, or in some place that somebody had gone and committed a crime. And likewise, if fingerprints are there, they can make those fingerprints disappear. The police can in fact turn out and get a conviction against you when you are innocent; and the reverse is that the police can make a guilty man walk free by tampering with evidence in the system. This is a shocking, frightening thing that is happening in Belize.”
As noted, an employee attached to the scenes of crime unit of the Rural Eastern Division is under investigation.
it’s a night mare now when this things happen, but as always the perpetrators (people involved) always get free from charges so it’s either worst to come or some kind of civil war in our Jewel.
Its happening long time.
