P.U.P. Gets Ready for Save Belize March on Wednesday

Michel Chebat

The People’s United Party is hosting a national protest this Wednesday in the city. The party says enough is enough and that the government has been reeling from scandal to scandal on a number of national issues. The P.U.P. has not recently organized a mass protest, so the numbers and muscle will be interesting factors.  The protest starts at nine in the morning at Constitution Park and ends at the B.T.L. Park.

Michel Chebat, P.U.P. Senator

“We have invited all Belizeans to come out. This is a protest that is being obviously led by the People’s United Party, but we have called all Belizeans who are concerned, all Belizeans who are disaffected to come out and to join us. This is a people’s movement and we are hoping that on Wednesday all the different sectors will in fact come out to register their protest and their dismay in relation to what is happening today in Belize.”
