Opposition Leader John Briceño Also Manhandled by Police

As Julius Espat was being dragged out of the building, the Leader of the Opposition John Briceño attempted to intervene, telling the police that Espat was already outside of the Chambers so excessive force was not necessary. But he too was manhandled by the officers who appeared to be overextending their authority. At least three officers were holding Espat down and another turned to Briceño shoving him out of the way.

With leadership like this it’s no wonder Belize is in deep trouble!

Mr. Briceno needs to outline in detail how the PUP will act on the Auditor General’s Report. We have heard all of this before. People will be held “accountable” and will “go to jail” if necessary. We are fed up of this dog and pony show. It cannot be that the highest level of punishment for the political class is “public shaming”.
The Belize Police Force and DPPs Office are absolutely hopeless and compromised. We need assistance from the U.S. Justice Department, the FBI, the U.S. Treasury and Scotland Yard. He needs to outline concretely how he will repatriate moneys stolen from this country.
The Immigration Dept. and Vital Statistics Dept. need to be purged and criminal charges brought against those involved. The same applies for the Lands Dept/Ministry of Natural Resources.
Julius’ action in the House is fine by me because these events are beyond extraordinary. But those thieves need to be jailed, moneys returned, and those illegal passports cancelled. Otherwise, when we travel expect nothing but unprecedented harassment and the UDP will keep winning elections with fraudulent, Pseudo-Belizean votes. I look forward to seeing Eric Chang, Penner, Castro et al in prison, whether it be Belizean or US prison. I am not holding my breath though.

Believe me, Castro already has felt the vibes. I’ve been calling his name over a year. He has not entered the US since Penner Gate broke and he has a Green Card. I’ve called Beverly Castillo’s name; word is she and Peyreffiitte are cozy. She better not let Juliet know. I’ve called Gowin Hulse’s name also. You all are just finding out these name a whole year and more after a blogged about them. Castro doesn’t know if he’s coming or going and word is that he’s so uncertain and scared that he sent his son to Houston for a 2015 truck he bought on tax payer’s money.
