Will William Mason surveillance tapes catch Ministers doing wrong?

Richard “Dickie” Bradley

On Monday, Senior Counsel Richard “Dickie” Bradley, attorney for Melissa Ferguson, accused of conspiring to kidnap Pastor Llewellyn Lucas and David Dodd, all but assured the press after her bail hearing that his client will be free of the charge. Now that’s par for the course for defense attorneys, but Bradley went a little further, imploring the press to question police over certain tapes recovered from the surveillance system set up in Ferguson and her husband William Mason’s Belmopan home on Intelco Hill, which he believes may expose certain Ministers of Government who have been doing their best to distance themselves from the Mason affair.

“Now that this Melissa Ferguson phase one saga is over, since the police have admitted that they have the tape recordings of persons inside the house and outside the house, let them tell you what is on those tape recordings in relation to Ministers of Government, who Mr. Mason is making serious allegations and that he has it on tape, and that he has copies of those tapes hidden somewhere else. You are the media; the Prime Minister has praised you for digging and doing your job; continue to dig and do that job.”

Deputy Prime Minister Patrick Faber; former National Security Minister and Minister of Defence John Saldivar; and Minister of Agriculture Gaspar Vega all say they are not worried about any recording by Mason that may expose them publicly.

  1. Hatari says:

I’ll bet you that those tapes never see the light of day. These are the despicable politicians that we have running our country into the ground. Wake up people before all is lost.
