Companion of Mason Says She Saw Pastor Lue at Intelco Hill Home

William "Danny" Mason

The gruesome murder of Pastor Llewellyn Lucas and the circumstances surrounding the discovery of his head on Friday, July fifteenth shocked the nation. Police have remained circumspect in their revelations, but have claimed that there is surveillance video which clearly shows the kidnapping of Pastor Lue and two others at Mason’s Intelco Hill home. According to Acting Commissioner of Police Russell Blackett, that video also shows the perpetrators of the kidnapping, in action. So where does Melissa Ferguson fit into this picture? According to Bradley she was at home that Friday when Pastor Lucas visited, but claims she knows nothing about any ill fate which befell him.

“That was not my impression. My instructions which are fairly recent are that in fact she was up and about in the presence of one of the staff, and I’m sure the Police have already gotten a statement long before she went in – going to the various government department to do business, paying licenses for vehicles and so on which can be verified. In the afternoon she returned to Intelco Hill – as I’ve said to you there is staff at the house, the residence and there is staff at the farm – never been to the farm on the fifteenth. The information that she has given to the Police in addition to other members of the staff that were present have already given to the Police – and there is video footage – is that in fact she was there in the afternoon. She said to the Police she recalled seeing pastor Lue who had been a frequent visitor to the resident. He was there earlier in the afternoon and to the best of her knowledge he had left. She also observed in the course of the afternoon and the evening that her husband had also left because the vehicle that he came in with some workers was not present. She remained at home. It was Friday evening. The staff were there up until after five p.m. when they left on Friday.”
