Mason Will Likely Face Additional Kidnapping Charges

Russell Blackett

Tonight there is a very strong suggestion that the murder of Lucas may not be the only crime hanging over Mason’s head. In fact, the reason for the preliminary detention on Friday was because of another terrible crime which has now been linked to the death of Lucas. According to reliable, multiple sources, Mason kidnapped Cayo businessman Lloyd Friesen and his wife in an attempt to extort three hundred thousand dollars from them. It seems that the friend of many politicians has been running a longtime extortion scheme in which he allegedly threatens businesspersons with harm unless they pay him large sums of money. Today Police would confirm only that Mason has been on their radar for some time and there will be other charges laid against him.

“You called the accusation against Mr. Mason an Attempted Kidnapping. The person who he kidnapped is currently in hiding in Canada. He was introduced to Mr. .Mason by a Minister of Government. Upon receiving or giving three hundred thousand dollars of which the carrier appears to have been Mr. Lucas, upon refusal of the return of the money which should have been returned on Friday – previously when the money was not returned to the Mennonite he was taken to the house with his wife, at gunpoint, duct-taped, kept below the house for an extended period of time. All of this was reported to Police more than a month ago. The Mennonite was taken on the highway at gunpoint. I am not a Police. I am a pastor. I don’t even belong in the media. This is your job – where he agreed with Mr. Mason to pay monies for his release which were paid to him beside B.N.E. on the highway. All of this we understand the police had information of. How is that attempted kidnapping and not kidnapping? And why was Mr. Mason at this time not arrested and charged?”

Russell Blackett, Acting ComPol

“In short words, like everything else – a lot of deals gone bad. There are a lot of cases we have where you will find that deals were made. Persons try to negotiate and when it turns bad is when they run to the Police at the very end. The guy is in Canada and he will be in country very shortly. What he told us in the first instance on land in Belize is something he told us differently when he was in Canada. So it is something that we will need to re-interview him to see where the charges will go.”

Mason, those extra pardons will cost extra!

You screwed up and got caught, now you gotta pay me extra.

Fee simple, no penalties unless you try to screw me.

But of course this man that is in Canada is not a fool to but himself in danger. He must likely knew that the police or even the minister knew what was going on with Mr Mason. Now we can even trust the police in this country. You go make a complain and they want to arrest you. What a joke with the police department.
