San Pedro Police Make Drug Busts
San Pedro police have made a series of arrests following anti-drug operations on the island in the past few days. On Thursday, a team of officers visited a residence two miles south of town where they searched an apartment room occupied by Canadian nationals, thirty-five-year-old Sara Christine Brodie and thirty-seven-year-old Matthew George Hoy. Inside the room they discovered a hundred and seventy-seven and a half grams of cannabis, which is just over six ounces of drugs. They were arrested and charged jointly with drug trafficking. On Sunday, sometime around seven-thirty p.m., a joint team of Special Branch and CIB personnel raided an apartment room in San Pedrito. The sting operation yielded a hundred and twenty grams of suspected cannabis, which is about four ounces of drugs. Thirty-year-old Jermaine Zuniga and nineteen-year-old David Haylock are facing drug trafficking charges.
You do the crime you should do the time. They came to Belize and contributed to the crime when they could have made a positive difference. Maybe also worth checking how they are staying in Belize legally? Do they get their PR legally and officially….I doubt it.
Kick them out of Belize and ensure drug trafficking is on their record and when their passport is swiped so they can’t go to other countries and do the same thing.
Couldn’t succeed in Belize without drug dealing. Just another bunch of Cons in that beautiful country.
