So What Really Killed Champagne Paris?

Vanessa Champagne Paris

The family of Vanessa Champagne Paris has asked for privacy following her death on Saturday night. Born Porfelio Rodriguez Junior, he became a transgender woman years ago and transitioned to Vanessa Champagne Paris. She became a well-known member of the LGBT community, who experienced harassment and violence in the City. She made her plight known when she was attacked on Vernon Street two years ago. At the time, he was dressed as a woman.  Vanessa Champagne then moved back to the south with her family and had been living in Independence Village until her death over the weekend. A post mortem was carried out today; there was speculation that she had either been poisoned or had taken her own life. But none of that can be confirmed. Family members who were at the K.H.M.H. for the post mortem told News Five that they did not wish to make any further comments. Champagne lost her mother two weeks ago, and her father, Porfelio Rodriguez Senior is grief-stricken so did not disclose the results. But there is a report that Champagne died of respiratory complications. She fell ill on Friday and by was taken to the Southern Regional Hospital where he died on Saturday.
