Family Raising Funds for Expensive Procedure

Lavern Matura

Now, the bone marrow transplant to save Cleyon’s life costs one hundred thousand dollars – money that the family does not have. So next week Saturday, May fourteenth, the Matura family will be having an event to help raise the much needed funds for his life-saving surgery.

Lavern Matura, Aunt of Cleyon Marage

“The family is trying everything that we can to raise this money. His mom, Clovis Matura, has been on the media several times whenever they are doing fundraising to try and raise the money. And again, we ask the support of the Belizeans, everybody that has been helping from since he was diagnosed two years ago to now to please keep assisting with the donations. Next Saturday, the fourteenth, we will be having a turkey dinner sale. The dinner sale will be on 63 Central American Boulevard.”

“The cost for the turkey dinner?”

Lavern Matura

“The cost of the turkey dinner will be ten dollars a plate. If you want to assist him otherwise, you could always leave a donation at his account at either Scotia Bank or the Holy Redeemer Credit Union.”

Those account numbers are 5-2-7-7-0 at HRCU and 9-1-0-7-8-6-8 at Scotia Bank. You can also make donations to a Cleyon’s funding account on Young-Caring dot com.
