Keyren Tzib Will Stand Trial for Manslaughter

Keyren Tzib

After numerous adjournments, twenty-five year old coastguard officer Keyren Tzib, who is accused of the July second, 2015 stabbing murder of her estranged common-law husband, Thythis Blancaneaux, learnt her fate. And it was not good news when she appeared in court this morning. Following a preliminary investigation, Chief Magistrate, Anne Marie Smith ruled that there is enough evidence for Tzib to stand trial for manslaughter in the June session of the Supreme Court.  The Chief Magistrate, however, agreed with Tzib’s attorney, Darrell Bradley that there are some inconsistencies with the statement of two witnesses in the case against Tzib, but those will be considered by the Supreme Court.   With that, Tzib was held in custody for a while as her old bail had expired and she needed a new one.  Chief Magistrate Smith offered her bail in the sum of ten thousand dollars which she was able to meet. Tzib also learned today that her PI for the attempted murder of colleague, Kurt Hyde will be heard on May sixteenth, 2016. Thythis was fatally stabbed during a domestic dispute at their Lord’s Bank home.
