A minor is the first to be charged in Punta Gorda for a brazen robbery that occurred at a Chinese store on March twenty-first. He is among a trio of masked men who it is believed entered the store on Jose Maria Nunez Street in Punta Gorda Town. Seventeen-year-old Clinton Medina of Hopeville was charged with robbery with a firearm. A number of patrons were in the grocery store when the three armed men entered. They proceeded to close the shutters and after attacking several of the customers, stole fifty thousand dollars in cash and fled throw a hole made in the wall.  But the police had been tipped and waited for the trio who outsmarted them and made good their escape. But as they fled, they dropped the money bag which was picked up by the cops. While Medina is in custody, the other armed men, remain at large.
