Stiff Fines Imposed for Drug Trafficking

Ryan Cole

But another Belize City resident was imposed a stiffer fine of ten thousand dollars in the court room of Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith for drug trafficking. Ryan Cole was ordered to pay three thousand dollars upfront and the balance by June 2016. Ryan took the wrap for the possession of one hundred and fifty six grams of weed found on February twentieth at his home. Three others, his brother Conrad Cole, along with their friends, Alex Thyler Broaster and Derrick Pineda, all residents of Belize City were released. But even though the charges were withdrawn against them, old bills came up to haunt Pineda and Broaster which they were ordered to pay before they were allowed to go.
