Buller Charged for Violent Home Invasion
A woman’s house was burglarized while she was at home and when she tried to confront the burglar, she and her daughter were attacked. But tonight, the alleged culprit is behind bars. Kevin Buller, who was before the court last week on an unrelated matter, was this morning accused of burglary and harm. Buller was arraigned once again before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith for burglarizing the house of Gilda Locario on Antelope Street and harm upon Nicole McDonald on September third. Prosecutor in the case, Inspector Egbert Castillo, objected to bail on the grounds of the prevalence of the crime, that the defendant knows Locario and her daughter well and due to the severity of the offenses. McDonald claims that her mother was home when the burglary occurred and that when she confronted Buller, she found her mother’s belongings in a bag he was carrying. Just last week, Buller was charged with two traffic offenses for driving without a license and for using a vehicle without insurance. For the two offenses, Buller was fined five hundred dollars and was disqualified from driving for twelve months.
