B.T.L. Explains Away Social Media Marketing Blunder

Earlier this week on Tuesday, Belize Telemedia came under attack for a series of suggestive and offensive ads that it had posted on its Facebook.  Senator Lisa Shoman, a former chair of the company, wrote to them complaining about the nature of the ads that the government owned company was resorting to as part of its marketing strategies. B.T.L. also came under attack by members of the public who were outraged at the insensitive ads. The utility company issued an initial response on Tuesday admitting that the ads were offensive and removed them immediately from their social media page and undertook to properly screen their social media messages. It is not known who approved the placement of the ads, but following a meeting this Thursday, the B.T.L. Board of Directors apologized for the insensitivity of the ads and assured the public that it will take steps to ensure that its team (Quote) “receives diversity sensitivity training among other supplemental training, which will aid to avoid the social media posts in question to be repeated.” (Unquote)  B.T.L. also says that it was never the intent of the company to, with ill intent, use social media posts deemed degrading to any human being.

“Sex sells”. After the US and UN have set up their tent for the adoption of their LGBT, why not have inappropriate ads and join in with the rest of low life people in the Western World? All you have to do is run the ads, see if they fly and apologize if they don’t. This used to be a Christian country with morals and values. We are now being overrun by the corrupt American government and UN. Citizens from the UN and Canada are fleeing to Belize as a haven from progressive governments.
Most bring their dinero, their conservative Christian values and creation of jobs to Belize. It s time we stand up for our rights under our Constitution!!!

I applaud your comment! Let’s keep Belize pure as long as we can. We don’t want no Sodoma and Gomora here. Let’s not curse our beautiful Jewel.
