COLA Joins PNP Chorus, “Sedi Must Go”

Geovanni Brackett

On the heels of a call from the People’s National Party for Elrington’s immediate resignation as Minister of Foreign Affairs, COLA is following suit, demanding that he vacates the post forthwith.

Geovanni Brackett, President, COLA

“We are completely annoyed and disgusted with the way the minister is handling this situation.  We have called for his removal continuously and continuously the prime minister endorses this minister and I think [that] in light of these recent statements we at COLA firmly believe that our membership will seriously have to consider to recall this individual.  It might be a monumental task but somebody has to take up the burden of removing Sedi Elrington out of government, not only out of cabinet but out of government because no matter how much Petrocaribe money you spend, you could play politics with Petrocaribe but don’t play politics with the sovereignty of our nation.”
