…Say Police Used Excessive Force

Kevin Parks

The post-mortem examination, witnessed only by the Police, concluded at around four this afternoon. The family still has gotten no answers, however, and say they are prepared to do whatever it takes to get justice – justice for their family member who they say was gunned down like an animal by Policemen who had no right, nor need, to take his life.

Kevin Parks, Uncle of Deceased

“When they shot at him on the ground, one of the bullets probably ricocheted and hit him in the foot, and he ran. When he ran it was a simple thing the officers could have done if they weren’t drinking…they could have followed the trail of blood and found where he went into hiding or not. They could have gone on the radio secondly, if they couldn’t find the person – to radio the command to go to the hospital to see if they find anybody who entered with a gunshot wound and then secure him. But no…they did like a dog and a rabbit…chase, and after they did what they did, fired at his foot and hit him…they guy ran off by natural instinct because he felt pain – come on if I prick you with a needle you would say OUCH and move off. He went to try to secure himself and hide. They set chase like the hound and the rabbit and they finished tearing him up where they found him.”

Mike Rudon

“How far is the family prepared to take this right now?”

Kevin Parks

“We won’t rest. If you think we’re sleeping, it’s because we’re investigating. So it will come up because by right those three officers should have been detained, they should have been off duty because guaranteed right now they are on duty looking around for the same mischievous things probably already taking a drink.”

News Five has confirmed that indeed no sanction has been imposed on the officers involved in the shooting, and they are still on active duty at this time.
