American National Wanted for Husband’s Death

With the assistance of Interpol, the local police department has issued a warrant for Tracy Channon Nessl, the common-law wife of American retiree, Timothy Patrick McNamara, who died on Christmas Day of 2014.  The sixty-six year old man was found dead on the verandah of his house in Boston Village, Belize District; he had been shot in the head with a nine millimeter pistol licensed to his common-law wife. Initially, however, the case was treated as a suicide. Nessl, who is also an American, had reported to police that they were discussing financial difficulties they were having. She claims he went on the verandah and shortly after, she heard a gunshot. Well, according to Inspector Frederick Gordon, the Rural Executive Officer of the Police Department, as of last Friday, the Belize Police Department has issued a warrant for Nessl’s arrest. That’s because the apparent suicide has now been confirmed to be a case of murder and Nessl is suspected to have pulled the trigger.  The go ahead to arrest the forty-three year old for murder came after intensive investigations by a team of officers, including scenes of crime personnel, a firearm expert and a doctor.  Nessl had walked them through the crime scene over and over again giving her recollection of what she alleged occurred that fateful night and now the case has been reopened as one of murder.
