Police Bust Placencia Resident with Weed

Also in the south….today Placencia Police’s Quick Response Team conducted a search at the residence of twenty-two year old Akeem Tejeda in Placencia Village where they discovered one hundred and eleven grams of suspected cannabis. Eighteen year old Stephon Andrews, who was in the company of Tejeda during the search, was jointly charged for the offence of Drug Trafficking. Some months ago, Placencia Police arrested and charged Akeem Tejeda along with his brother for a similar offence of Drug Trafficking. One week ago, on Monday, Police also conducted a search on thirty-nine year old Devon Logan who was carrying an infant on the sidewalk in the village. The search resulted in the discovery of fourteen grams of crack cocaine. Logan was arrested and charged for the offence of Drug Trafficking.
