Staine Sibling Arraigned for Murder of B.D.F. Volunteer

Orlando & Phil Tyrone Staine

Two brothers have been arraigned for Saturday’s murder of B.D.F. volunteer, Denver Villafranco. The siblings, Orlando and Phil Tyrone Staine from the Saint Martin De Porres area appeared before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie Smith today after they were charged for the violent and cold blooded homicide.  Villafranco was chopped to death near the Complex building in the Saint Martin’s De Porres area, in Belize City. Reports are that the day before his untimely death, the twenty-two year old had intervened in a fight and that may have been the reason why he was killed. Police say Villafranco was attacked by four men who reportedly hit him in the head, allegedly with a crowbar before he was slashed to the right side of his abdomen with a four inch knife. But after the men were arraignment, their cousin, thirty-two year old Sofia Crawford told News Five that her cousins were provoked by Villafranco.

What a witness for the prosecution- even if all she said was true- how stupid can she be to say it on tv? She just sink her cousins

  2. Kay says:

This is good evidence to send the two of their #%^* dah back!!! Provocation is no justification for cold-blooded murder. They could have reported the matter to the police and let them deal with it from there but NO they turn judge, jury and executioner. Set the example with these waste-of-time-piece-of-crap…

The problem with these young men is the idleness that exists in the country. These young men wake up with hangover, go get more liquor, smoke dope and then wonder around all day long. They have no job, see no future, have no hope and probably no education.
There is such hopelessness among young people that life is worth nothing to them. The government has to do something to change the future for these young people.
The country needs to attract companies to move their operation to the country and give people the opportunity to work.
Take to the streets and demand change people.

There are many young men who are just the opposite. Who goes to work and try to be good productive members of society. In all neighborhood of the city.

However, i do agree with you that more businesses need to be created to provide more jobs for us. unfortunately, only foreign investing seems to be the answer. But better that than nothing. We do need jobs to have hope for a better future. I 100% agree with you on those points.
