San Pedro Columbia residents make citizen’s arrest

An elderly woman from San Pedro, Columbia was killed on Saturday, resulting in a manhunt for the alleged killer, who villagers feel is a resident of the community. We’ll have that story in a few, but first there are startling new development from that peaceful village in the Toledo district. Villagers have taken matters into their own hands and have performed a citizens’ arrest of the brothers of the man they believe killed sixty-one year old Agripina Coc. As we speak, those residents, more than one of them, armed with sticks and machetes have gone to the family home of the suspect and have taken his brothers into custody. They are hoping this will flush out the alleged killer. News Five spoke to southern Zone Commander minutes ago, and they were not aware of the situation. We’ll have much more on this in Tuesday’s newscast.

This is what you all have to start doing because this useless incompetent impotent gov cannot protect its citizens and the murder rate is climbing daily when you find the one that did it hang him yourselves hang all murderers.

  2. Uncle Benji says:

Viva la justcia! Arriba San Pedro! Bring out the Belikin and lets party. This is the way to go. Lets continue the vigilante justice and watch crime rates go way down in Belize.

Light up the fireworks and be sure to pop a big one in this culprit’s anus.

Street justice is something shared by many, but few understand its aftermath.

They should hang the bastard till he is dead, but then the world would label Belize savages.

Well, they would have all rights to think so…

  4. CEO says:

This is not street justice the law has a provision for this. The purpose of this law is not to hand out sentences but rather to capture a fugitive and turn them over to law enforcement.

A government usually does not all on its own accord make any changes that really help of benefits the masses and less so in Belize. A government must first be pushed into action by those that feel the brunt of their actions or the lack there of.

My hope is that one day Belizeans will get to the position to realize that their worse enemy is politics and the leaders that have pitted Belizeans against each other; UDP against PUP. Unless The people of Belize work together and push the GOB (UDP and/or PUP) in the correct direction shootings will never end and the quality of life will continue to spiral downward.
