3 Minors Arrested For Western Dairies Robbery

There was a late evening attempted robbery on Friday in Belize City, but it didn’t go quite as planned. In fact, two of the robbers actually ended up at the K.H.M.H. after they were shot. It happened at the Western Dairies outlet on Freetown Road at around four-thirty p.m.  Four youths on bicycles apparently rode up on a truck which was being loaded by two employees at the rear of the building, and two of them pulled guns. Police aren’t going into too much detail, but somebody fired on the robbers first, injuring two of them. The other two dropped their bikes and fled on foot. The would-be robbers, both seventeen years old, were transported to the K.H.M.H., while a third youth was later apprehended by Police.

Supt. Hilberto Romero, Crimes Investigation Branch

Hilberto Romero

“In relation to the robbery at Western Dairies, three minors have been arrested and charged for the crime of robbery. One is still admitted to the KHMH with a gunshot injury. Another one of them who received a gunshot injury was released and he has been charged.”

“Have you all been able to determine if anything was taken in the robbery?”

Supt. Hilberto Romero

“Nothing was taken in the robbery.”

Police recovered a gun from the scene and are looking for one other suspect in the attempted robbery. One of the alleged robbers at the K.H.M.H. is listed in critical, but stable condition.

  1. From the West says:

Police need to find out who shot the scum, and put him in charge of the police department. Arm all honest citizens, relax the gun laws for those who own licensed weapons, and encourage citizens to defend themselves and their fellow citizens. We may have some collateral damage, but no where close to what it is now.

Mr. West, thanks, you are very correct, not joking, if you campaign for coming elections, I will support you.
