Popular Songstress Releases New Video

Roxana Alcoser is well-known for her melodious voice; she sings with the popular family band Super Furia from Orange Walk Town. The band has released hit songs on patriotism during the National September Celebrations. But this year, Roxy has an early release of a music video on an issue that many people will at some time experience. The vocalist is on a countrywide tour promoting her new release and dropped by to tell us about “You Promised Me.”

Roxana Alcoser, Artist

“This song all came about…everyone experiences it…you know you get heartbroken and then the person comes back to you and says I’m sorry, but they promise you all kinds of things. Like they say promises and the words, the winds take it, but the song still remains in Roxy. You are all heartbroken, but then you cheer up and you move on.”

“What was the inspiration for the song? Was this one particular person? Was this coming together of all the different emotions and feelings that came through your pen?”

Roxana Alcoser

“It has to do with a feedback of everyone—my friends as well—everyone comes and cries. So it is based on life experiences from everyone. And from myself as well; I’m an example. So it is based on life experiences from everyone and it is nice just to see the end product of this song video and how it came about and at the end I am still smiling here.”

“What is the reception you are looking forward to from fans of yours?”

Roxana Alcoser

“Well I just want them to know that even if at times you feel all depressed and I know there is no such word as trying to console you at that point in time. But in the end, you just need to get up on your two feet, smile and know that love will come again and knock to your door.”

The video can be viewed on YouTube.
