U.B. student leader appears in court, no witnesses again

U.B. student leader Moses Sulph appeared in court once more to face charges of organising and participating in a public procession without a permit and trespassing on Pallotti and St. John’s College campuses during the civil disturbances in April. However, yet again, the case did not proceed, with the prosecution telling the court that one of its main witnesses was ill. Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord indicated he would give one final adjournment, which was set for January thirty-first. If the case does not proceed then, the charges will be dismissed. Sulph is also accused of damaging a police car windshield during the demonstrations.
