Lets see what their justice system is…hopefully our foreign ministry has already contacted Bajan Government.

Lets hope and pray for a speedy recovery.

I posed this question before, but nobody answered it. I think it must be answered.

HOW WILL CRUISE PASSENGERS GET FROM CRAWL CAYE TO THE MAINLAND? It can only be accomplished one of two ways:

1. By using tender boats and water taxis, which is the same system that the cruise lines object to in Belize.

2. By building a causeway, in effect, totally changing the coastline, destroying some natural beaches and making new artificial beaches — that’s pretty enormous change to the environment!

Is the mega-develiopment good for the nation over the long-term, or just good for the bank accounts of politicians over the short-term? Which goal should we Belizeans bow down to?

It’s a big project, it needs a big national discussion. I really don’t trust the competence or honesty of the PM to make these decisions by himself in secret — do you?

As for Ambergris Cay, the awards might reflect what we all see in the news and comments here, San Pedro is going down the drain, too many thugs, too many drugs. Sad to see that. The King is dead, long live the King!

San Pedranos should think long and hard about how far they want to let their island descend before they start to work and fight to reclaim it and restore it. Is it time to throw out the “elected leaders” there under whose leadership the island is going to hell?

1. They can organize so that nobody in the villages will work for or help Treaty Energy.

2. They can learn about their Constitutional power to arrest lawbreakers, and decide if they should arrest people who are drilling for oil with no valid contract, as the court has determined.

3. They can carry out peaceful demonstrations to interfere with and stop the illegal operations of Treaty Energy.

When GOB refuses to follow or enforce the law, we all still have our collective rights — after all, GOB was elected by us to do what we want, not what Barrow, or Vega or any other crooked politician wants for himself. That practice has to change, and now is a good time to start changing it.

I wonder how many babies survived the hospital in May — I’d guess the number of survivors is less than the number of dead.

It seems mothers would be better off to have their babies at home, or in a taxi — anywhere but in KHMH.

I REALLY BELIEVE WE NEED TO BRING IN A FIRST-WORLD, AMERICAN OR BRIT, DOCTOR TO OVERSEE HOW OUR HOSPITALS ARE BEING RUN, CLEANED, ETC. Between KHMH and the Northern Regional Hospital, we have too many deadly mistakes, and it seems that babies are paying for those mistakes with their lives.

ARE THESE PROBLEMS ACCEPTABLE TO YOU?

The PM seems to have lost his voice over the Denny Grijalva scandal, but he needs to be heard on these poor dead babies.
