Carmelita Businessman chopped to the head in a robbery

An Orange Walk businessman was chopped in the face this morning during an attack at his workplace. The victim, identified as Dennis Eiley, is the proprietor of Prestige Block Factory in Carmelita Village. While there are no official reports coming from the Orange Walk Police, News Five understands that the attack reportedly happened around eight-thirty a.m. According to reports, three men arrived at the Prestige Block Factory asking to speak with the owner. Eiley went outside to meet the men who in turn attacked him with a machete, chopping him multiple times. Eiley was rushed to the Northern Regional in a stable condition. Word to News Five is that Eiley was robbed of three thousand dollars, the proceeds of the sale of a horse.
