Yu mean there are now young bright Belizean professionals in Belize or abroad? They keep re-cycling these old heads that bring nothing new to the table other than long links to the olds guards. That is why nothing improves in Belize except for the corruption!

DR Barnett is being kicked around quiet often. Do not expect her to stick around too long. The political games we play in Belize won’t let her. Still waiting to see the impact of Horizon 2030.

You are so right, Rafael. They keep recycling these old political flunkies who have absolutely no idea of the new era and technology and how things are run. I travel a lot and Belize looks the worst out of all these Central American and Caribbean countries. When was the last time someone went to Guatemala, especially Guatemala City, Costa Rica, even poor Salvador? As poor as Haiti is go to the Dominica part of the island and see the vast improvements in roads and buildings. Notice, I haven’t even used the US as an example. What happened to our bright Sixth Form graduates? What happened to folks who went on these scholarships. Tracey Taegar-Panton had one. She went on a two-year Junior College scholarship through USAID and then continued on. Roger Arthurs, God rest his soul, moved up to a managerial position at Radisson and then transferred to California in the same post until his untimely accident. I miss my childhood friend.(Tearing up). Give these kids incentives. PUP, I hope you’re taking note. I’m close to a lot of you but if I ever become involved with the party, which I plan to be if you get back in power, I will let you know publicly, I will not tolerate this sort of bullshit. It disgusts me about what has happened in Belize. I’m home frequently and the last two trips, specifically the one I made a couple weeks ago, have me thinking that I don’t even want to return. Gud fi some ah unno because unno think that free rum and free food as well as $50 every two weeks make a good government.
