Tour operators bound over the peace for 3 years

Yhony Rosado

Tour operators Yhony Rosado and Vitalino Reyes both share a history of rivalry with each other.  In December 2013, Rosado and Reyes became embroiled in a physical altercation and were later summoned to appear in court where they were charged with the offense of disorderly conduct.  Today, the trial of the two men began before Chief Magistrate Anne Marie and prosecutor Sgt. Macedonio Sanchez called his only witness who saw the fist fight between the men.  That officer was PC Dennis Palacio.  Despite a no case submission being made, at the end of the morning session the chief magistrate ruled that both men had a case to answer to regarding the charge of disorderly conduct.  PC Palacio, in his testimony, said that on December twenty-sixth, he saw Vitalino Reyes and Yhony Rosado engaged in a fist fight. When he intervened, he said he had to take off Reyes from Yhony Rosado. In his testimony, Rosado told the court that that he and Reyes argued that day.

He faked Reyes and then walked away but that he was never informed that he would be charged or summoned but he did admit that they were arguing.  Reyes said from the witness box that there was indeed a fight.  He was not the one fighting but that Rosado beat him up.  Rosado said Reyes placed a clip board in his face and told him that the price he had was cheaper and that’s when Yhony kicked him in the left leg and punched him in the face and he fell down and then walked away. And at three this evening, the Chief Magistrate, Anne Marie Smith made up her mind regarding whether or not the men committed the offense of disorderly conduct.  She said, “There was obviously trouble between the two competitors. It’s unfortunate that the two of you grown men had to reach to this level.  There were three versions of event in this case and I cannot believe any version.  There was poor work on the part of the investigating officer, PC Dennis Palacio.  I do believe that Vitalino Reyes gave credible testimony however; I am dismissing the charge and bounding over the two of you to keep the peace for three years in the sum of one thousand dollars in default three months imprisonment.”

Acting like a couple little boys on the play ground . . . and in front of our guests. Typical!
