Janet Arnold is new Assistant GM of National Bank of Belize

Janet Arnold

There is an update to report on the National Bank of Belize. As you know by now, Jose Marin was named Managing Director when the Bank opened its doors last year. Last Friday, he was told to step aside and even though Marin told News Five he had considered stepping down a month ago, he was still taken aback by the turn of events last Friday. By this morning, however, an assistant general manager was named in the person of Janet Arnold. The top post, according to the Bank, will be advertised shortly and as a point of clarification John Mencias told News Five that he resigned from the Board in January of this year.

Rod you are nothing but a racist j@ck@$$!!! While I believed that they removed the BEST possible candidate from the job; it had nothing to do with racism and all to do with CORRUPTION…J.A.; Jack A, Ms. Grant said on National T.V that she removed him because is is taking too long to process loans at preferential rates to her friends and colleagues; she said that she want the two point five million dollars ($2,500,000) to be loan to her friends, she said anyone that knows her know that she want none of that portion of money… She wants her friends to get the money, she said she wants the bank to loose money at first (by lending money to her friends and families) and then the bank will make money afterwards by lending to private Belizean citizens at normal/regular rates. it stinks of CORRUPTION, not racism as you bigoted jack—is claiming. take your head out your A$$ so that you can really see what is happening.

  4. Big Black Woman says:

    Dear Rod,
After using us black people to build the country, and short-changing us in all things (scholarships, jobs, homes, etc) you have the gall to be mad because a black woman was put in place to run a bank? Oh, I just remembered. George Price never meant for us blacks to get ahead anyway, that’s why you’re mad.

By the way, if you had done some research, you would have known that this person has years of experience in the banking sector, working with one of the larger, more successful banks in the country.

  5. BeA says:

Janet Arnold has over 28 years of banking expertise. Opened Scotia bank Belama as branch manager as well as The belize city and Belmopan branch with respective title. I hope your ignorance may be at ease to know that she is half Hispanic, needless to say 100% Belizean. I would share some choice words with Rod, but my mother taught me not to argue with fools.

  6. Belizeantothebone! says:

What BeA fails to mention is that Mrs. Janet Arnold was made to leave….front door shown to her…with no red carpet!!!
