Chef charged for ten pounds of marijuana

Story PictureFollowing a police search of two homes, a chef has been charged with Drug Trafficking and Possession of Controlled Drugs. Ten pounds of weed were reportedly found in a red sack stashed inside the chef’s house while at another house police found a lesser amount, two point five grams. This morning police escorted forty-eight year old Lillian Marie Williams, a resident of Raccoon Street Extension to court. Williams pleaded not guilty and the matter was adjourned until September twenty-fifth. She was offered bail of five thousand dollars. Police say that on Wednesday just before noon, they visited Williams at work and informed her of the search. Police say Williams denied living at the house but they contend that the items at the house were hers. When they searched a house in the same yard where she claimed she lived, police said they found the additional two point five grams of weed in a kitchen drawer. But in a strange coincidence, shortly after Williams met bail, her son was arraigned in court. Twenty-four year old Micah Lee was charged for Damage to Property and Wounding of his girlfriend, Sandra Thompson. He pleaded not guilty and was offered bail of one thousand dollars.
