But wait, the owner of the establishment still enjoys his cut of the proceeds when the ‘illegal’ girls are uncaught and generating mucho cash. At the same time he “doesn’t want to know” about any illegals on stage. When that day comes–and it always does–that the illegals are discovered, he the owner then throws the ‘manager’ under the bus and have her face jail time. And you know what? I bet you Gonzales agrees with this.

  3. Truth says:

Sad day. The hammer is coming down on Temptations now. HMMMMM. I wonder why. Is it because a certain inspector in Ladyville isn’t getting his just due even though he’s paying rent for a few of them at a house at 8 miles? Police officers, immigration officers frequent this place. A few guys who have jobs at a bank and with government have married these girls. While prostitution is illegal, it’s accepted in most countries as long as there’s no major scandal. Corruption is so rampant in Belize that it has become the norm and acceptable by the majority of the population. Illiteracy is at an all time high and we have some on the radio and television, especially one who t.v. who frequently calls folks criminals, thieves and a bunch of derogatory names and he forgot his skeletons and how he touched big money at his past employer and getting paid to show up at his job on North Front Street for a couple hours a day; besides the hustle that’s in the making by the abogado. The irony of it is the masses tend to forget as soon as an empty promise and free food and alcohol are thrown their way come election time.
