Ministry of Health to hold press conference on results of suspected H1N1 cases

The Ministry of Health will be hosting a press briefing on Wednesday in which it will be releasing the results and the management of the recent H-one N-one Influenza cases across the country. Five cases were being tested at CAREC. From what News Five has learnt, there is reason for concern because the influenza has been found in many countries in the region and in fact, privately, doctors are saying that the influenza is dominant. At news time, we can report that a twenty-four year old resident of Paraiso in the Corozal District reportedly died of the influenza. He was treated across the border in Chetumal and brought back for burial. We’ll be covering that press conference on Wednesday and we’ll bring you those results in our newscast.
