Family thinks the K.H.M.H. is responsible for the death of Tillett

The post-mortem examination may reveal that Tillett died as a result of the head wound he suffered on New Year’s Day…or as a consequence of his heart condition, related or unrelated to that head injury. But whatever the result, and whenever they get it, Tillett’s family still feels that the K.H.M.H. is ultimately responsible for his death. They claim that Tillett was obviously still weak and in no condition to leave, but he was sent home because they needed the space. Tillett’s niece, Royann Riveroll, told News Five that she is not happy with the K.H.M.H., and is prepared to push the issue.

“The minute you say that the man has a low heart rate and is not breathing the way he should, why would you send the man out of the hospital? This man just came out of an induced coma the Friday, and the Saturday they put him out of the hospital because they want room…they needed room. Why? Why? That’s the real reason I am so frustrated because now we have a death that we have to take care of now.”

“Has any member of the family talked to anyone at the K.H.M.H. about this?”

“Well we haven’t gone there as yet to talk to anyone about this, but I will push the issue. I will really push the issue because I will not leave it this way. I will not leave it this way because I do believe that they are responsible for my uncle’s death.”

“I understand that you were there when your uncle was released. What was his condition?”

“His condition…he was still in pain. He was coughing a lot and he said he had headaches, and he wasn’t breathing the way he should be breathing. Why would they leave him to go home? He was lying in his house, in his bed all weekend, not feeling well. Not even medication they gave him so he could take it at home. And then now this. I am not happy about it.”

Today, Police reported the news of Tillett’s passing as a sudden death, and not a murder. There is finally mention of Tillett’s alleged abduction on New Year’s Day, he was allegedly robbed of his possessions and two thousand dollars in cash.
