The Baby Jaguars face Guatemala in UNCAF Games

The UNCAF under-sixteen tournament continues tonight in Belmopan with the Baby Jaguars taking on team Guatemala.  It’s a hugely anticipated game that is starting shortly at the F.F.B. stadium in Belmopan. That match is anticipated to draw favorable attendance since both countries have a football rivalry going.  In the opening series, Belize beat Nicaragua two-one, while Guatemala defeated El Salvador two-nothing and Costa Rica bested Honduras by a score of two to one.  Since the beginning of the competition on Monday, Belize has only lost one match, falling two to nil to El Salvador on Tuesday evening.  On the second day of competition, Costa Rica won by a difference of one goal when they defeated Guatemala two to one. Honduras dealt Nicaragua a two-nil blow and the Baby Jaguars fell to El Salvador.  Tonight’s game will be aired immediately following the news right here on Channel Five.
