Two companies involved in the tourism industry were honored by a major cruise line this morning. Princess Cruise Lines along with two other ships from Carnival, docked in our port this morning on scheduled visits. Princess’s visit this time around had dual purposes—to tender its passengers to the Belizean shore for the amazing tours and to honor two tour operators for their outstanding work during the 2012-2013 cruise season.

“Congratulations as our Customer Service Director said for the good effort and good sales and good relation with Princess and tour operators. So that if ever we make a request and we get that reply as possible to give more satisfactory service to our passengers that want to escape completely in any of our ports. Once again, first we are going to award the low volume tour of the season to Bacab Eco Park. So this company is selected by Princess for 2012-2013 C.R.U.I.S.E. low volume tour of the season in the port of Belize.”

The Horseback Safari Ride of Bacab Eco Park and Lunch received high ratings, positive passenger comments and tagged as an excellent value tour.

After the award ceremonies, the media and awardees were given a tour of the vessel. Fourteen floors of spa, night clubs, restaurants, lobbies, shops and much more…can you say a floating fantasy. Duane Moody for News Five.
