Whistleblower discloses specifics of meetings with Castro to Ombudsman

Castro dodged the media Saturday, but he won’t be able to dodge the very serious allegation made against him. The informant, who Castro has identified as Alvarine Burgess, has now filed an affidavit at the Ombudsman’s office in Belize City. In the affidavit, Burgess discloses specifics of her meetings with Castro, during which she claims the Minister was paid two thousand dollars for each visa he facilitated. Burgess also goes into great detail on the procedure from payment to Castro to collecting the passports with visas attached. She claims that she has witnesses who can verify that she made the trip from Independence to Belmopan at the Minister’s request. And says Burgess, there are witnesses who can place her at the Minister’s office. In the affidavit, Burgess claims that she went there so often that she and Castro’s secretary became friends. She tells the Ombudsman that Castro facilitated approximately two hundred visas from October 2012 to April 2013. In the affidavit she names the contact in the Belize Police Department who brought the money and Chinese passports and application forms for her. Burgess states that since giving the television interview last Wednesday, her life has been threatened and she has also received calls offering her money to keep quiet. News Five understands that at the request of the U.S. Government, the affidavit will also be handed over to them.

IT’S ABOUT time that the US government request a copy of the affidavit. If evidence is handed over to the police, everything would be lost, because they too have a hand in vetting a person, to ensure they have no police record. Lets hope this woman will get some real protection, because no amount of corrupted ministers should ever be allowed to get away with their blatant crime.

The U.S should investigate all that’s happening in Belize and cut them involved in all this from ever going to the U.S and take there money that they have outside belize.

The US government must investigate itself.
NOT our country nor our people.

It is very important that the US Gov., look into this activity, carried out by the UDP administration, as it has the potential of bringing international criminals to Belize and use our home as a spring board to launch terrorist activity to our friends in the north.
What I do believe is that the US Gov., should stop all ministers from Belize to enter the USA until this is investigated. Place an embargo on Belize, only this way it will stop.
I am a Belizean, and hate to say what I say, but this way i hope it will deter, GOB ministers to stop selling our passport.
Take in mind, be sure that the NSA knows all about the corrupted ministers in Belize, and I can say for sure that if the US gov., wants that affidavit, a grand jury will look over it and if evidence that GOB under the UDP, help any criminal activity. some ministers will go the the of “Rawell Pelayo” a jail cell in Brooklyn NY USA. FYI ask PM son about the Federal Prison he could give you a good discretion, after all he did years.
I hope the US GOV., get to the bottom of this and take all the person involved, I see it as trafficking criminals and terrorist in Belize

Heredia said, “To put it a little better, everybody knows that we have a Prime Minister that doesn’t play with anybody.: : ) We think the man was playing because he told them, if you are doing the visa skam, st o p it! The public officers who knew too much are now being dispersed, so the cover up can be completed, in the hope that the public will be appeased. How come we haven’t heard the big girls and boys involved, head roll. They are the ones who signed and collect the $’s! Not to mention Castro is on the run, and was told; “Keep your clappers closed! “
