P.U.P. and Cordel Hyde set to negotiate a possible comeback

Cordel Hyde

There are some major political rumblings that have already began to play out on the National House of Assembly floor. During last week’s meeting of parliament, Minister Michael Finnegan attempted to chastise former Prime Minister Said Musa for considering a possible return of Cordel Hyde to the People’s United Party. It was Finnegan who once welcomed both Mark Espat and Hyde following their separation from the P.U.P.  However, a lot can change in a year following the General Elections. The executive of the P.U.P. is meeting on Wednesday to discuss whether or not Hyde will be accepted back into the fold. Not all the deputy leaders are in unison, but Hyde’s seat was always considered a sure win until he stepped aside in 2012.

Francis, Francis. Taking back Hyde into the folds of the P.U.P. shows how weak a leader you are.

It simply starts with you the people. I believe the only way Belize can see a real change is from the Bottom up the People. The people need to tell the government what they want and then when the agree that they will make the changes then they need to hold them (accountable )
