Tremors experienced on Delta Airline flight

Late Thursday, News Five received reports that a flight from the U.S. to Belize had experienced severe turbulence about an hour out of Belize, resulting in injuries to multiple passengers who had to be transported to the K.H.M.H. via BERT ambulance on landing. Today, News Five has confirmed that the aircraft in question was Delta Flight seven-zero-three from Atlanta to Belize City. An official release from Delta states that the plane encountered brief, moderate turbulence while the seatbelt sign was illuminated, resulting in injuries to one flight attendant and eight passengers. As a result, Delta’s flight six-six-four from Belize City to Atlanta was cancelled. All nine persons were treated and released and today Delta resumed services as normal.
